This clock is great for workers when it's time to get up and go to work. It does not play just one bird call. It will play more until you turn the clock off.
Also, it helps birders with their identification of birds.
I'm a birder and I practice bird calls. This is great to wake up to and practice so when I'm birding, I'll wake up to the bird calls and be able to identify which bird is calling.

This clock is easy to set and easy to use. The volume can be adjusted loudly to wake the heavy sleeper or softly for the light sleeper.
I purchased this clock to wake my husband since he gets up at 4 am and I get up at 6am. It's nice to be awakened gently instead of jolted out of bed by a buzzer or beeper which makes it much easier for me to get back to sleep once my husband is up. The only thing I wish this clock had is a dual alarm, although I use a dawn simulating alarm for myself so it really doesn't matter to me. This really is a nice alternative to the jolting alarms of regular alarm clocks.

If you're a bird lover (and even if you aren't, but just want a bit of "back to nature" in your urban world), this alarm clock is for you! It's easy to set, easy to read and yes, easy to snooze if need be.
I have it right next to my pillow, volume set on the lower side and it's a soft, melodic way to greet the day. I'm a light sleeper, so I don't often hear it go past the first or second bird sounds. But if you need a bigger nudge, the persistent rooster at the end does the trick. It's annoying, actually, but isn't that the point?
Another good point - you can get other bird sound cards if you get bored with the one it comes with. It's also a unique gift for those who seem to have everything - except this clock! Lightweight, batteries easy to change, doesn't take a genius or a screwdriver to get it going. Highly recommended!
