bought this as a stocking stuffer for my husband who loves gin and tonics. the ice cubes come out very easily.

When I took it out of it's packaging, it definitely had a chemical-y smell.
Why even bother using filtered water for my ice, if I can get all those delicious chemicals from my ice cube maker?

It's a cute concept, and if you aren't worried about the chemical smell, it's fine. Hey, you can even have mine, because I'm not going to use it. And of course shipping costs make it unreasonable to return)

I bought this as a gift for a friend- and although they seem like such a cool idea, they are really hard to get out of the tray. Not practical for using very often. But I still love the idea-and so did my friend. I guess it's the thought that counts.
